A year.

A year ago, we were strangers.
A year later, we still are.
In between, you gave me a lifetime of memories.

Graciously Yours!

  1. Six definitions are there in the dictionery for this word stanger but none has the life except this…which has an impact of a blotting paper which has the quality of absorbing the excess pain and relieve the person in agony..and leave imprints of memories….

    nice sketch !!

    1. And that, dear friend, is exactly why I wrote the post! To relieve the excess pain and absolve myself of the miseries of a broken heart 😉
After all, there’s so much to love in this world. You need a strong heart and a stronger resolve to heal.
Thank you for letting my words get to you!

      1. Broken heart….
i often believe that heart cannot be broken it has immence capacity to love, to sacrifice, to hide and to express…even if something goes wrong..most of the time its the other person who is at loss..

And yes there is so much to love in this world but few to accept it…i hope this post can change things further..
        thank you

      2. This post definitely changes a lot of equations and is actually heralding the spring in my life!

    1. I think it’s a fairly common though utterly painful story of people’s lives (give or take a few months) ! But what is important it is to accept it and move on. Just because you moved on, doesn’t mean you forgot. Simply means you learnt to love. Again.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting! 🙂

    1. Hi Nimi!
Thank you for your kind words.
Regarding, the background camouflaging the words, your browser may not be loading the site properly because the words, as per my theme settings, are supposed to always be on the white backdrop.
I hope this small technical glitch won’t send you away from the blog though.
      Regards 🙂

    1. Thank you! 🙂

You want to know why the sketch is lovely? That’s the magic of the Linc Ball point pen 😉 *just kidding*

Or do you want to know why the strangers remained so?

      Welcome to the blog! 🙂

  2. Adi! A lovely post, moreover a healthy spirit, to move on. It’s not gonna be easy, but few words so strong conveys an invisible strength to those in need or those unaware of their need. 🙂
I hope you find solace. Write it down or give it a form or shade it black or red. Let it flow, soon enough the weight will be gone and you can soar high.
    Best wishes dear,
    Shambhavi

    1. Thank you so much, dear!

These words mean a lot. And believe me, people get tired of the weight. It just is too much to draw alone each night. Hence, I’d rather let go and find solace in my own self rather than in someone else.
Thanks for your best wishes ❤

      1. Hi! You’re most welcome!
I understand Adi, the weight gets unbearable and one day the body and mind just gives away. I hope you find what you’re looking for. Don’t forget, that the strength is in you. 🙂 Have faith.
        Take care.

      2. The faith is what keeps me going. Rest assured, I am on the way to healing myself. No one person deserves to be the reason for someone to break down so badly. However, important or special that person may be. So, yes, may be I did find what I was looking for 🙂
Thank you for the concern ❤
