Don’t let me go.

You make my days seem like ages, and my hours seem like minutes.
You flirt all you want, but I sense the pain in your heart.
You are charming and maybe truly my lucky charm.
You make my worries vanish, and my lips smile to the fullest.
You are a rarity, both literally and rhetorically.
You seem to have been with me since ever and to think we  will remain together forever.
And standing by you, with you, for you is as easy as breathing.

And breathtaking.

  1. Makes me feel jealous and… eh… forgot the word for it but the feeling is like a wishful nostalgia only you haven’t had it before(since nostalgia is for something you had before). Everyone should have someone like that… or like you. So that one can compliment and other can express it as beautifully as you do through your words. πŸ™‚

  2. Extremely touching lines, Adi. Makes you wanna hold your loved ones and never let go πŸ™‚ Since everyone is recommending a song … here’s my entry : “Only hope” from A Walk To Remember. That guy is lucky, and now he knows it πŸ™‚

  3. Days like ages, hours like minutes. It would have made no sense for me if I hadn’t started blogging. In a day we are able gather so many experiences, explore so many places, learn so many virtues that truly require ages for anyone. And then when the blog is yours, minutes suddenly become seconds. Just after a few moments, I realize that its been a few hours since I opened your blog. πŸ˜€
Read the whole poem with a smile. Thanks, as always πŸ™‚

    1. Prateek. All I can say is, you’re falling in love! With the blog πŸ˜‰ beware!
I love reading your comments each day! If this is what I have to read when I wake up every morning, I’d want my days to pass soon and nights to finish faster! πŸ™‚

      2. I’m serious! Those were the first things I woke up to after the alarm and I was like whatever the time is, I’m not sleeping again. I’m getting to my books! πŸ™‚ Thank you for the appreciation! ❀

      3. This just left me speechless and smiling, Aditi! Thank you so soo much ! But to say the truth, I too wait for the day to end so that I can peacefully open your pieces and read them in silence. And I never get disappointed in my search of peace and happiness after reading you. I am indebted to you for that. πŸ™‚

      4. There’s so much of rawness in your words! If I could make a difference in even one life due to what I am and what I do, it would make my day and so many more days! Thank you, Prateek.
        Graciously Yours!
